Copper Plating
Copper is a great conductor of electricity, so using copper electroplating can improve the conductivity of a base material. Copper is highly malleable, making it ideal for components that bend, offering excellent protection against corrosion. Plating copper also achieves a smooth, even coverage on to base metals; providing an undercoat for additional coating and plating finishes. This means copper plated components are able to benefit from additional processes that’s layered on top of the copper plating; nickel for example.
